When the prospect of this super-trio first leaked out last year – the guitar heroics of Ben Chasny a.k.a. Six Organs of Admittance and Sir Richard Bishop of Sun City Girls, with the skin beatings of Chris Corsano as background jumble – music geeks around the world wet their trousers. This is their debut drop and boy does it drop. The album features a steady diet of controlled chaos as the two six-strings noodle their way to the nethers, while Corsano truly is an animal behind his stripped-down kit.
