Barn Burner: Ready to rock the free world once again

It’s been quite the ride recently for the Montreal quartet Barn Burner. It was only last year that the heavy-ass Metal Blade Records let loose the band’s debut disc to an unsuspecting world, the awesome Bangers, an album that knocked more than a few head-bangers on their tails with its power, precision and rock and roll dynamics.

Fast forward to now and the madness continues with Bangers II: Scum of the Earth, a record that magically captures what the young heshers do best, a musical cross-pollination of the old and the new, the metal and the pop, the speed and the stoned, the classic and the rock.

Teaming up once again with producer Adrian Popovic (Tricky Woo, Priestess, etc.), Barn Burner keep it all loud and loose as goose, injecting their brand of melodic noise with plenty of dashes of humour and hoodwinks, all the while bowing at the shrine of the mighty six-string.
