Nadia G: all up in your grill

Host of the Food Network’s Bitchin’ Kitchen, and mastermind behind the hottest emerging digital brand in Canada, this glamorous Montreal bombshell is being praised as the “Julia Child of the net generation.” Whether on television, the web, or in her best-selling cookbook, Nadia G makes cooking entertaining, hilarious, and just a bit dangerous. Her acerbic wit is matched by an ability to whip up meals to die for while sporting three-inch cherry stiletto heels. Having grown up in a lively Italian family, she brings a fiery appetite for life to all of her work, from Rehab Recipes to Break-Up Brunches. We asked Nadia G for her favourite hangouts when she isn’t rocking your kitchen.

1 Lipstick Sundays at Porte Rouge | 1834, Mont-Royal E.
Dj Frigid, rockin’ fashionista crowd. I typically never dance, but Lipstick Sundays always get me chicken squawkin’.

2 Garde Manger | 408, Saint-Francois-Xavier
Chuck Hughes rocks! Great music, jerk crab legs, what more can a girl ask for?

3 Restaurant Club Chasse et Pêche | 423, St-Claude
Sucking pig risotto with foie gras shavings, anyone? To die for – literally, for that poor suckling pig and duck. Bah. Whaddya gonna do, life sucks when you’re a tasty animal.

4 M:brgr | 2025, Drummond

I know, I know. Lots of restos here, but a stinkin’ museum’s got nothing on M:brgr’s pulled pork mac ’n’ cheese!

5 Biftek | 3702, St-Laurent
Because I’m banned for life.
