Club Entourage: Clichés on Crescent

The name alone might lead you to believe that you'll stroll in to find Vincent Chase and company co-mingling with sought-after model types at an A-list happening of Hollywood proportions.

Well, you're strongly encouraged to check those HBO fantasies at the door, as Club Entourage is routine Crescent fare for the 18-to-21 college crowd. Not that there's anything wrong with that. The kids in question dress like real grown-ups, especially the overwhelming majority of dudes fancying the classic white buttoned-down shirt/dark denim look. They're the ones knocking back drinks in the sleek second floor lounge, where high ceilings, glass windows and glistening walls are the perfect backdrop to pop that $500 bottle of Dom Perignon with a few close homies.

If you're less into spending and more into sweating, the latest in house and urban grooves are served up on the ground level dance floor, replete with an obscenely huge video screen and an odd cluster of disco balls hanging from the ceiling.

The nearby terrace is perfect to soak in the sights and sounds of intoxicated frat boys and cougars at their finest. As for the bar, order mixed drinks at your own risk. Our bartender seemed convinced that coke, orange juice and a dash of vodka added up to a Long Island Iced Tea. Now would Drama and Turtle have taken that?
