Spanish house gurus Coyu & Edu Imbernon spice things up at Le Belmont

Montreal DJ duo Nathan Burns and Elio Krass, producers and co-creators of the Microzoo Records label, are known for creating and promoting genre crossing in the form of experimental and trendsetting electronic music. This Friday night, the Igloofest veterans take to the stage with two of the Spanish house music scene’s most celebrated new DJs, Coyu and Edu Imbernon, for an international night of Euro immoderation.

Hailing from Barcelona and Valencia, respectively, these rulers of the remix bring their bass-heavy partnership from the sun-soaked beaches of the Mediterranean coast to Montreal, for their first collaboration this side of the Atlantic. With Edu dropping a new vinyl – his own celebrated record label Eklektisch’s first – and Coyu topping out the global house charts all month, this show promises to show fans of the genre why Spaniards are more than just soccer and paella. They can party too.
