DJ Miles Moore: liberating deep house demons from Montreal’s basements

If you’re into underground music, deep-house summer dance parties and local DJs, the Canicule party at St-Laurent’s new Club Warehouse is the place for you to be.

The night will feature local DJ Miles Moore‘s album launch on Liberate Records. The founders of the label, DJ Eman and DJ Doc Link, will also be performing. There will be an opening set by Inobe+Escobar and all of the party’s music will be recorded live for the Red Bull Music Academy Radio.

Born and raised in Montreal, Moore’s passion for music started at a young age with his discovery of artists like Giorgio Moroder, MARRS and Paul Hardcastle – some of the most well-known artists of the deep house and electronic music scenes. His early releases in the late 1990s earned him nominations as Montreal’s best electronic artist and garnered him national media attention, enabling him to start DJing across the country; including an unexpected performance for the Canadian Governor General Adrienne Clarkson.

Saturday night will mark Moore’s hotly anticipated album launch with the New York label, widely known as housing some of today’s best-known electronic and house acts. Check out Canicule if you want to help celebrate the success of one of Montreal’s hardest working DJs and dance the hours away to the cream of New York and Chicago’s underground scenes.
